Obviously, it would be great if it was possible to make a bit of an income selling photographs.  BBC Click recently published a short video about how to sell your photographs online.  You can skip the first few minutes as it covers a few compact digital cameras, but after about 3 minutes in, the topic changes to Getty Images and Flickr.

So, if you’re lucky, your photos might catch the eye of the reviewers at Getty Images and they’ll pay to license your photos.

Every few months, Getty Images run a ‘call for artists‘ on Flickr where they invite photographers to submit upto 12 images to their photo pool.  If your photos get noticed, then you could be invited to join their Flickr collection on the Getty Images website and then sit back as people pay you to use your photos!
