The EOS 40d has a substantial and sturdy build, however it’s designed well enough that all of the function and operations are with in easy reach while you’re shooting. The layout of the programme buttons are quite intuitive and everything feels really easy to navigate.
The automatic function buttons work really well and you can very easily take great, clear, sharp pictures with very little effort. The price tag makes it a little proscriptive if you’re new to photography, but if you’ve been taking picture with an entry level DSLR and maybe have a few lenses, this is a great step up.
I love mine and love learning how to improve my photographs every time I take it out.
