The Nikon D50 was a compromise when I boought it - because I didn't have the $$$ to get a professional camera, but I haven't been disappointed at all.
One of the most impressive aspects is how long the battery lasts. Especially when you take into account that I often have my camera outside at temperatures of minus 20 or 25 celsius or even lower.
A system to easily clean the ccd would be nice, but overall I am very pleased with this camera.
